FAQs

What are your books about?
I have many books of all types in development (my sister counted around 29 once). However, those are mostly outlines just scribbled down and filed away-- occasionally I pull one out to work on or add to. The books that are my main focus, you can find info on by clicking the 'My Books' tab above.
What editing program do you use?
I use trakAxPC for all of my video editing needs. For my images (Banners, buttons, ect...) I use Paint.NET and GIMP-- Both are free programs. A few things that you need to know about trakAxPC is that: it's cheap, you can try it by downloading the free trial, and if you don't know how to do something the company posts video tutorials on youtube that are very helpful. It is the best program I have ever used. It's perfect for anyone on a budget who still wants to make quality edited videos.

Do you make the book trailers posted on your channel?
As of this moment, NO. Every trailer that you see posted on my channel was made by another company-- hence why I don't run ads on them. The reason that I can post these trailers on my channel is because I have permission to do so. Sometimes authors or publicists will specifically ask me to post a trailer, or I will ask them if I can. I also have a standing agreement with certain book trailer companies to upload their trailers on my channel.

That being said, I would love to someday make and upload an official book trailer. I sometimes make them for fun, though I rarely make them available to the public. And I have agreed to make trailers for certain authors, should they ever need me to. At the very least, I would someday like to make an official trailer for my own book.
Will you read my unpublished manuscript?
Frankly, no. It is not because I don't want to or because I don't have faith in you, but because of time. Editing and writing my own book takes up the majority of my free time. When I take on someone's manuscript, I find myself focusing more on their work than my own. Please understand that this is a question that I get asked all of the time. If I accept one, I have to accept another, and before I know it I'm hidden beneath a mountain of manuscripts that are not my own. Sorry.

How do you get so many signed books?
Getting signed books is relatively easy. The obvious point to make is that you can just go to the event and get your book signed right there. However, you might not live in one of those states that authors visit a lot or have the ability to travel often. In which case, you're like me. You can still get signed books, don't worry. Here are some ways:

DIRECTLY FROM A STORE: First, you must go to the author's event page on their website. Pick a bookstore that she'll/he'll be visiting. Within a few days of the event, call the bookstore. Ask if it would be possible to have a signed copy from the event shipped to your home. Most bookstores are more than happy to make this happen for you. Just make sure that you have a credit/debit card to pay with and that you can afford the shipping costs.

BOOKS OF WONDER: This is a store in New York that has a fantastic signed book collection. Note: Only teens and childrens titles. If you live in New York, you can visit the store. If not, then you can order straight from the website. For collectors they also have a membership program with some awesome benefits, but it's a bit pricey.

BOOK OUTLET: You've probably heard this website mentioned in BookTuber videos before. It's a great site to get super cheap books. They also have signed books, though it's not the greatest of collections I've ever seen. I have gotten many signed and unsigned books from them, because the prices just make it so easy. It needs to be noted that the shipping is terribly slow AND the books are rarely in brand new condition. They aren't used, but they sometimes look it. These are bargain books from stores that just couldn't sell them. Which means that they have been handled a lot and often have remainder marks. Here's the website.

ALIBRIS: I LOVE Alibris. I've used it for years. It's a great site to get both new and used books for cheap. It's set up like eBay and Amazon, as it's made up of independent sellers. So the signed book collection, is entirely dependent on the book you're looking for. Simply search the book, select the correct book from the results (if multiple appear). Below the book's image and description you'll see all of the different copies for sale. On the left, you can select the format you want. Above the listings, you can select "More Filters" and then check the "signed" box. This will show you all of the titles that people are selling. I definitely, recommend this site if you're looking for a specific book that you just absolutely have to have signed. Website.

Now, all you have to do is wait for that little brown package to arrive.

Can you recommend some good books?
I sure can! The best books that I have ever read can be found under Best Of The Best. And, of course, you can find a list of my book (spoiler-free) reviews on Goodreads.

Can I make fan art for one of you books?
Hellz yay! I would love that. I've had fan art made in the past and I don't think that I could ever get enough. It makes me so happy to know that there are people out there who are so excited about something that I am creating that they would be inspired to do fan art for it. Mind boggling! If you do create something, please send it to me at this email: exaulta@hotmail.com. I would love to see it and possible share it anywhere that I can.
